As part of a larger collaboration, Discordia Arts is a collective of musicians, artists, dancers, and performers who strive to provide audiences with a unique experience, reminiscent of a vaudevillian or cabaret style performance. Founded in 2010, the group blends music from Wasted Wine’s Robert Gowan and Little Soul into a mix of Rock, Folk, Cabaret, and Eastern European styles. Within this collaboration, Brandy is the Artistic Dance Director of Discordia, an unlikely duo formed in 2010 and located in Greenville SC. Discordia consists of dancer Brandy White and musician Robert Gowan of Wasted Wine. Together, the two create an unusual, yet harmonious, pairing of dance and music sure to appeal to the eyes and ears of adventurous audiences.

In addition to this, Discordia Dance will feature the occasional performance from my students and guest artists.

Tuesday, December 7 Natalie Brown, director of Delirium Tribal and Alternacirque of Columbia SC, will be teaching a two hour ATS Intensive. Anyone with some experience in American Tribal Style is welcome.
Class cost will be $25 for the two hours. This is a great opportunity and a bargain for a small intimate class with a top professional.

Wasted Wine are a ramshackle two-man orchestra of bizarre sounds and baffling lyrics. The band consists of multi-instrumentalists / co-lead vocalists Robert Gowan and Adam Murphy. Their music is weird, dark, sad, funny, theatrical, and self-recorded, employing countless “exotic” instruments.
Joining Wasted Wine will be Greenville’s own, Little Soul. Lou and Buck, plus percussionist Jane Kemp and possibly new bassist, Kelly Ward, will perform a set of their own before joining Wasted Wine for a super band set at the end of the night. PLUS, Discordia, Robert Gowan and Brandy White, a guy, a dancer and a bunch of instruments will perform for a night of unbelievable talent!
The festivities begin at 8:30. $5
